Abstract: Based on the case of the intimate video of the candidate for Mayor of Paris Benjamin Griveaux and the media and political affair called “La Manada” around the gang rape of a young Spanish woman, we propose the qualification of a media-porn regime within which the circulation and the establishment of mechanisms for public production and exhibition of the intimate sphere give images pornographic status, and transform them into vectors of political power. This allows us to question the image-evidence regime in the treatment of sexual violence and the paradigm shift brought about by the various “MeToo” movements.
